Daniel’s 70 weeks prophecy

An exposition based on the Hebrew text.

Herman Goldwag

Takes a detailed look at the Hebrew text of Daniel chapter 9 showing that the prophecy of the 70 weeks is one of the marvels of the Bible fortelling the mighty work the Lord Jesus would accomplish in His sacrifice for the sins of the world. This act in the midst of the 70th week mightily confirmed the covenant between the living God and the nation of Israel. Then at the end of the 70th week the gospel was extended to all men everywhere, so that gentiles could be grafted in.

Is the Papacy predicted by St. Paul?

An Inquiry.

Bishop Christopher Wordsworth D.D.

Bishop Wordsworth explains 2 Thess. 2:1-13. To understand this passage one must know the identity of the Restraining Power which St. Paul told the Thessalonians when he was there. Wordsworth explains the reasons why it was left obscure and the evidence of how God has preserved the identity which St. Paul revealed.

Armed with this knowledge, deduction demands that the Man of Sin must be a corporate identity matching the Papacy, as the Restraining Power was a corporate identity.

Sadly the Church of England has departed far further from the truth than Wordsworth imagined it could since the publication of this study.
